PETER CAPALDI

Peter is best known for his BAFTA-winning portrayal of MALCOLM TUCKER in Armando Iannucci’s critically acclaimed THE THICK OF IT and as the 12th incarnation of the BBC’s cult hit DOCTOR WHO. His extensive credits span Theatre, TV and Film, including THE PERSONAL HISTORY OF DAVID COPPERFIELD, his recurring role in StudioCanal’s PADDINGTON films, WORLD WAR Z, LOCAL HERO, DANGEROUS LIAISONS and  IN THE LOOP. Peter won an Academy Award for writing and directing the short film FRANK KAFKA’S IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE starring Richard E Grant. His TV credits include; DEVIL’S HOUR, PRIME SUSPECT, MINDER, THE CROW ROAD, THE VICAR OF DIBLEY, ACCUSED, PEEP SHOW, SKINS, THE HOUR, TORCHWOOD, THE MUSKETEERS and THE DEVIL’S WHORE. He also directed the first two series of GETTING ON. His on-stage credits include; CONSTELLATIONS, THE LADYKILLERS, ABSURDIA, FEELGOOD, THE JUDAS KISS and many more. He was most recently seen in James Gunn’s THE SUICIDE SQUAD for Warner Brothers, THE DEVIL’S HOUR for Amazon Prime, with season 2 coming out later this year, and CRIMINAL RECORD for Apple TV +.

 

KIELL SMITH-BYNOE

Actor and writer Kiell Smith-Bynoe is best known for his role as Mike – Alison’s non-spirit-seeing husband – in the BAFTA-nominated sitcom ‘Ghosts’ (BBC). And for playing no-nonsense estate agent Dean in BAFTA-winning comedy ‘Stath Lets Flats’ (Ch4).

His further acting credits include ‘Death Valley’ (BBC) and the comedies ‘Dreamland’ (Sky), ‘A Whole Lifetime with Jamie Demetriou’ (Netflix), ‘Man Like Mobeen’ (BBC), ‘The Curse’ and ‘The Horne Section’ (Ch4). Kiell also created and starred in the Broadcast Digital Award winning comedy ‘Red Flag’ for Channel 4.

 A contestant in the 15th series of Taskmaster, he also co-hosted the prestigious British Independent Film Awards 2023 and hosted the TV Festival TV Awards last Summer. After competing in the 2021 Christmas special of The Great British Sewing Bee, he stepped in for Sara Pascoe as the host for Series 10.
